1 Official Rules Draft on Mon Dec 30, 2013 9:09 pm

I think using Spin Master's Mechtanium Surge rules is the best way to go at the moment.  Look at them here. Just to tell you, we will not be using Big Game. I think Big Game is too long. Any objections? Why?

I always thought it would be cool if you could set down more than one gate card at a time. Usually at the beginning of a game the two brawlers would only set down one gate card. And that was it. I think it would be more strategic if you had the ability to set down another gate card. But you could only set down one gate card per turn. I hope we can change the rules a little bit and do it this way.

Do you mean Arena Play?

Sort of....I was playing the video game when I noticed you could set down more than one gate card. We can still have the other rules. I just want to be able to set down more gate cards so there would be more gate cards on the field. Remember the first season of the show? During a brawl, after they would set down the first two cards. They would have the ability of setting down another card. It's kind of hard to explain and I've never played "Arena Play". I've played the game the same way my whole life.

I think for now, it'd be best to do Spin Master's MS Rulings. It was really the last set of official rulings, that covers everything.

A major thing that we need to discuss are the BakuTech rules.

We could have multiple formats (e.g. No Support Pieces, New Vestroia rules, Gundalian Invaders Rules, etc.)

They are all very similar. We may make a limited format later similar to the WBO, but we need to discuss how to test first. Find "OverPowered" parts.

So guys on a serious not do you think we should establish a G-Power limit since so e of the G-Power is way too good making it too easy to beat some of the older Bakugan, and we can't have us losing members just because they can't buy the MS Bakugam.

Yeah I think we should IMO

Any ideas on what the limit should be?

Hmm... No bakugans over 900 gs seems pretty good... But to me it doesn't really matter because I have gates and abilities that if I was at a low g-power like 400 I can easily use one of my abilities or gates to double or triple how much I get from the ability or gate attribute bonus.

I think 800 is a good point, but let's wait until Robin pitches his opinion.

What if a players Razenoid rolls to 950 during battle while the rules say only 800 g's? Razenoid has a variety of g-numbers and the limit is 950.

Retool it I guess or maybe we ban all over a certain number of G's.

why not try then 950 I guess

17 Re: Official Rules Draft on Wed Jul 23, 2014 6:41 pm

That's way too high. The average G-power for bakugan is about 600-800gs so let's have something low and fair....

I feel we should have a 750 G limit and have any thing above automatically fall to 750 Gs, or maybe have two separate formats. Limited, where you can only have up ti 750 and unlimited where you can have as many G's as you want.

Hmm... 800gs? I guess we could do that!

Ok let's make a topic in the Advanced Discussion and then we will decide.

I like rangers idea better, as it allows people to use bakugan the have their own cards, without being too broken. Such as inneagram's jump (or somethin) that only applies to a certain Bakugan. Either way850- 950 is far too high, and needs to be restricted in some way

22 Re: Official Rules Draft on Mon Aug 04, 2014 5:32 pm

I think there should be a cap on Base G-Power, but not how high it can go during a battle. Maybe we should use RagerBlade's idea and have everything over the limit be set to the max base Power, because there are certain cards (Character Cards, Abilities, etc.) that you need that specific Bakugan for.

I was going to point out that there are cards where the lowest G-Power wins, or ones that swap G-Powers, but it's probably too much of a hassle to always have to use one to keep up with the 1300G Subterra Scaboids running around.

That's what we're discussing. We're trying to set a g-power limited for the bakugan's printed G-power. But yes I agree with RagerBlade's idea. But do you think 750 is pushing it?

24 Re: Official Rules Draft on Wed Aug 06, 2014 9:03 pm

Ok I just had an idea. How about we have different tiers of Bakugan.

Unlimited: Any G allowed
Powerful: Under 800
Mid Range: Under 600
Minor: Under 400

25 Re: Official Rules Draft on Mon Aug 11, 2014 3:24 pm

I agree with it. But I think we should only limit the g-power in the non-support format!
